1. Snowboarding is what i do for fun. like to take on challenging terrain, learning more tricks \, jumbs, and get a sense of accomplishment when i complete the tricks, i also love the mountain scenary. Not only is it an amazing experience going down the mountain, but i also enjoy the mountains when waiting anxiously to get to the top. Every year i can't wait for the winter.
2. Movies and books interest me. I like the book the hobbit. I like how it how an adventurous setting, its take the reader out of the ordinary and into the extraordinary. It expands and allows my imagination to roam. I also like the movie Stand and Deliver. Jaime Escalante takes a group of under priveleged students who are underestimated and inspires them to do great on an AP Calculus test. It shows the value of a good teacher and how much influence a good teacher has on his/her students. I also allows me to think about how much i appreciate the teachers that have so greatly influeced me.
3. For hobbies i play soccer. I like the comradary required to be successful and how it is fast paced. Scoring points is also challenging, because in order to score the goal, what is needed is teamwork, communication will everyone. It is not easy like scoring one basket in basketball. Scoring one goal in soccer is more difficult.
I also like building model airplanes, when i was a kid i built my first plane with my dad and grandpa. It taught me the principles of flight which lead me to love science and math. It also got me interested in older model planes of WWII. I day i want to design planes, and become and mechanical and aerospcace engineer.
4. The award i recieved was in 8th when i was the valedictorian. I am also part of the National Honors Society. I have also won many trophies and certificates for winning soccer tournaments for my AYSO traveling team.
5. When i leave high school i wanna build planes.
6. I want to major in mechanical engineering becuase this will teach me everything that is necessary to build efficienc planes.
7. I want to go to Rose Huhlman becasue it is the top engineering shcool and it will hopefully allow me to build panes that won't crash. (hahaha hopefully)
8. The achievements i have accomplished in school are that i am on the National Honors Society and am the Varsity soccer captian. I have been on the Honors Program since freshman year and have taken every honors class, i have also taken AP courses such as AP European History, AP US History, AP Chemistry, AP English, AP Physics, AP Calculus.

1. What to do for fun: Camping at Rin Con beach in Santa Barbara w/ my family. We toat smore's and tell stories around the bon fire. In the morning we wake up to go surfing.
2. Favorite Book: There's a Wocket in My Pocket by Dr. Suess because it reminds me of my childhood. Every nite my mom used to read it to me before i went to bed and every nite we would stop on the page with the bofa on the sofa eating pink bon bons and laugh uncontrollably.
3. Favorite Movie: Dead Poets Society because i like the message the movie entails. Follow your dreams and never let anyone control your hopes and desires. I believe in following what i want to do in life not what someone else wants me to be. I feel that even though the prestigious east coast setting differs from my laid back california highschool, it shares a lot of the same pressures and stresses amongst teenagers today.
4. Most important thing in my room: Bear shaped piggy bank that my grandma gave me because it reminds me of the lesson she teaches. It teaches me to be careful with my money and to save my money till i need to use it. Even though she's passed, the piggy bank still reminds me to abide by these lessons.
5. Hobbies: I collect state quarters. When i was 9 in 4th grade my teacher gave me an assignment to memorize the states. My mom suggested that i start collecting the quarters to help me memorize the names of the states. Ive continued to collect the quarters and next year will be the last year and my collection will be complete.
6.After High School: I want a career in hospitality management. So i want to go to Cornell's school of Hospitality Administration.
7.Favorite sport: While I'm primarilly academically inclined, i love to rollerskate. Physical and mantal fitness complement eachother.
